To many individuals, a bed bug infestation is the most invasive pest problem imaginable. Most people who have a bed bug issue are extremely embarrassed because they mistakenly assume the infestation is an indicator that they or their homes are somehow dirty. However, bed bugs come from many sources, including guests, used furniture, adjacent apartments, and pets. These parasites will make themselves at home anywhere, clean or dirty, if they can readily feed on blood. Here at Tri-County, we specialize in the remediation of bed bugs. If you suspect you may have bed bugs, call us immediately and we’ll have you sleeping soundly again in no time.
Thermal Remediation As the number of bed bug calls began steadily increasing over the past few years, we began to realize that conventional methods alone were not enough when it came to bed bugs. After a long period of research and testing, Tri County is happy to introduce Thermal Remediation® services to eradicate Bed Bugs. This service is a cutting edge method that uses heat instead of chemicals to kill the insects. For more information on Thermal Remediation click here. Mattress Covers Along with other cutting edge methods, Tri-County supplies and installs mattress covers to trap and kill bed bugs in the mattress and box spring. Additionally the white color and reduced number of seams make beds and box springs with covers much easier to inspect. We utilize both active covers (covers that have been impregnated with permethrin and actively kill bed bugs) and passive covers (covers that provide an escape proof seal to trap the bed bugs until they eventually die). An expert technician will help you determine which option is best for you. Consultations The first step to a treatment program for any insect, but especially for bed bugs, is inspection. At a consultation, we will thoroughly inspect every area of your house to determine the presence, size, and location of any infestation. We also provide consultation and training to customers who travel frequently or are otherwise at a high risk of running into bed bugs. We can teach you how to significantly reduce your risk of bringing bed bugs home with you. |
